Yangzom Trading is a family-owned business established in the year 2000 with the vision of supplying quality food products to the Bhutanese market. Starting as a small trading enterprise, the company gradually expanded its operations by importing processed food products such as noodles, juices, biscuits, and other food-related items to meet the growing demand of consumers across the country. Over the years, Yangzom Trading has built strong partnerships with international suppliers and has become a trusted name in Bhutan’s food distribution sector.
Today, the company imports a wide range of popular international food brands including Samyang noodles from South Korea, for which Yangzom Trading serves as the authorized genuine distributor in Bhutan. The company also imports products from brands such as Nacecook and Vinuts from Vietnam, along with various other international food products tailored to the tastes and preferences of Bhutanese consumers.
Over the past two decades, Yangzom Trading has grown into one of the largest distributors of processed food products in Bhutan, supplying retailers, wholesalers, and businesses across the country. Yangzom Trading operates a fully computerized warehouse facility of approximately 10,000 sq. ft. located in Babesa, Thimphu which serves as a central hub for the storage and distribution of imported food products across the country. The strategic location in Thimphu enables efficient and timely movement of goods to retailers, wholesalers, and distributors throughout Bhutan. The warehouse follows proper stock management practices, including the First In First Out (FIFO) system, ensuring that customers receive fresh and high-quality products at all times.
The company is supported by a dedicated team of more than 30 employees who manage various aspects of operations including logistics, warehouse management, sales, marketing, and distribution. With a committed workforce and organized infrastructure, Yangzom Trading ensures smooth supply chain management and reliable delivery of products to its partners and customers across Bhutan.
